Retired teacher Rakhal Ch. Das passes away in Kalaigaon

KALAIGAON: Rakhal Ch. Das (65), a resident of village Bhehguri under Kalaigaon Revenue Circle and retired teacher of Khairabari Lower Primary School died at around 6:45 pm on Friday.

He was suffering from high blood pressure.

According to his family members, he suddenly collapsed while having his usual evening tea. After that, Das was rushed to hospital; but, he breathed his last on the way to hospital.

Das has left behind four sons, three daughters in law, two grand daughters, a grandson and his other half.

Das was associated with a number of social and religious organizations. Meanwhile, former BTC Speaker Tridip Daimary has also mourned the death of Rakhal Ch. Das.
