Review meet on Jal Jeevan Mission in Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: The Deputy Commissioner of Tinsukia Swapneel Paul laid extreme priority in successful implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission in the district. A review meeting of the central government’s flagship programme was held at DC’s conference hall on Wednesday with DC Swapneel Paul in the chair. The meeting was attended by officials of Public Health Engineering and executive magistrates who were engaged to monitor the implementation.

The DC discussed at length the details of the scheme and instructed the executive magistrates to accomplish the job with utmost sincerity. He also instructed the officials to ensure regular supply of pure drinking water to the beneficiaries without any compromise. Paul asked the officials to visit each scheme and submit a detailed report to the Deputy Commissioner. Among others present in the meeting were Munindra Bordoloi, CEO, Tinsukia Zilla Parishad, Anupam Deka and Preeti Kumari, SDOs of Sadiya and Margherita, respectively, and EO of municipal bodies.
