Review meeting on land record computerization, survey held in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR: A review meeting headed by EM, of Land Revenue and Disaster Management (LR&DM), Ranjit Basumatary on revenue matters with Naren Ch Basumatary, Secretary, LR&DM, Dhiraj Saud, Secretary, Director of Land Records & Survey, BTC, Wilburn Daimary, Joint Secretary, LR&DM and all Circle Officers of five districts of BTR was held in the conference hall of BTCLA, Kokrajhar on Wednesday.

The meeting was discussed computerization of land records of BTR and the same was taken to expedite computerization of land records. Survey of Non-Cadastral (NC) villages with the help of the drones is to be completed without further delay. Discussion was also held regarding launching of SWAMITVA Scheme; the construction of Asom Mala road from Kokrajhar to Rupsi Airport and other Asom Mala roads; acquisition of land for construction of NH and disaster preparedness in BTR.

The EM asked all the Circle Officers to take responsibility for land negotiation of land value and acquisition; computerization of Land Records and Survey of Non-Cadastral (NC) villages with the help of drones.
