Review meeting on Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0 held in Doomdooma

DOOMDOOMA: Tinsukia Deputy Commissioner Swapnil Pal held a review meeting with Block Development Officers of all development blocks of the district on Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0 at the conference room of Deputy Commissioner’s Office on Friday. The DC took stock of the progress of solid waste management, plastic waste management, liquid waste management under Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0 and also reviewed the progress of construction of private toilets and collectively managed sanitary complexes.

DC Pal directed the Panchayat and Rural Development Department and Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department to make joint efforts to complete the activities stipulated for Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0 in a planned manner and within the stipulated time frame. The meeting was attended by Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Zila Parishad Munindra Bardoloi, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), PHE department Sarfraz Haque, Executive Engineer, PHE Department Jyotikrishna Mohanta and other officers and employees of Panchayat and Rural Development and PHE department.
