DUDHNOI: Tankeshwar Rabha, Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council (RHAC), inaugurated five projects funded for the financial year 2018-19 and FY 2019-20.
The CEM officially inaugurated the joint building constructed at Upper Siluk village under South Dudhnoi Council constituency at a cost of Rs 7.50 lakh by Rabha Hasong on Tuesday. This followed by the inauguration of a paver road constructed at a cost of Rs 62 lakh as per the 2019-20 scheme by plastic technology from Nimdim PMGSY Road to Siluk Bakhrapara village via Khoonkhrajani.
Tankeshwar Rabha also officially inaugurated the Garo Tribal Research Centre at Khoonkhrani Garo Para built at a cost of Rs 8 lakh under the 2019-20 scheme. The programme was followed by the inauguration of the model classroom built at Khoonkhrajani Primary School. The classroom, built at a cost of Rs 7.58 lakh in FY 2018-19, has table and chairs for headmasters, almirah and book shelves, besides desks and benches for students.
CEM Tankeshwar Rabha also inaugurated the paved wall constructed at Baghmara Kali Temple on behalf of Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council at a cost of Rs 7 lakh for the 2019-20 scheme.
