Rihon Daimari interacts with citizens on developmental issues

UDALGURI: The local legislator and the Cabinet Minister of Assam Rihon Daimari organized an interactive session with the citizens of Udalguri on Saturday. Former MCLA & BPF candidate for 38 No Bhairabkunda constituency Ripen Daimari felicitated and welcomed the citizens to the meeting. President of Udalguri Sahitya Sabha Kamala Sarma, senior citizen Paresh Sarma, Bhadrakanta Deka, Phani Oja of Chambers of Commerce, Himangshu Das of AJYCP, Bitopan Das of AASU delivered their speeches on the occasion. Rihon Daimari patiently listened to the queries of the people and categorically replied to them.The Minister apprised the local citizen that an auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,000 is under construction at Nalbari, the Udalguri daily market shed will be multi-storied with a meeting hall and a wedding hall, and a stadium under Khelo India will be constructed at Monpur.

The construction of Rowta- Udalguri road, the beautification of Udalguri town, and the toilets and water facilities are underway, he informed. He urged the people to look at the party that is doing the best for the people before casting their votes. The people thanked him for his initiatives for the development of the region.
