Guwahati: Renowned singer and Assam's heartthrob Zubeen Garg turns 48 today. Born on November 18, 1972, everyone's favourite Zubeen 'da' is a multitalented man who has excelled in all the fields that he had put his hands on.

The good samaritan, Zubeen has celebrated his pre-birthday with the patients of Ayursundra Hospital in Guwahati. Amid these tough times of the global pandemic, Zubeen along with his wife, Garima Saikia Garg, visited the hospital and organised a session to help the critical patients. He visited various wards of the hospital and gifted fruit baskets to the patients on the occasion of his birthday. Zubeen further announced that he would pay all the expenses of five critically ill patients of the hospital.

A philanthropist by nature, Zubeen has always been lending a helping hand to the ones in need. The Assam icon runs a charity, the Kalaguru Artiste Foundation, which contributes to various causes. Zubeen has helped people during the times of flood in Assam by providing essential commodities to them. He has always kept humanity as his first duty by helping and rescuing the ones in need.
