Rongali Bihu Sanmillan organized by All Assam Students’ Union in Demow concludes

DEMOW: Under the patronage of All Assam Students’ Union (AASU), Demow Regional Committee and in association with the people of Demow, the Rongali Bihu Sanmillan started in Demow Public Playground from May 7. As per the schedule, on the first day, the programme start with flag hoisting and after that the swahid tarpan was offered. Egg fight competition, pitha pana competition, Bihu dance competition, Bihuwati competition, Husori competition were also organized. On May 8, which was the concluding day of the Rongali Bihu Sanmillan, the drawing competition, dhol badan competition, Jeng Bihu competition were organized and after that the prize distribution ceremony was held where the winners of different competitions were given prizes. Popular Singer Geetanjali Das performed in the cultural night programme.
