DIBRUGARH: In an attempt to promote cultural unity in diversity and enlighten the masses about the Agniveer scheme, Lekhapani Battalion of Spear Corps took part in the ‘Rongali’ cultural festival organized by the Government of Assam.

The festival is aimed at promoting cultural unity and to celebrate the diversity of the State of Assam. The event was held at Tingkhong and witnessed a massive turnout, including renowned figures in the field of business, sports, entertainment and politics. In true spirit of the theme, Lekhapani Battalion showcased a unique blend of pipe band, bhangra and Kalaripayattu martial arts display.

New generation weapons and equipment were also showcased to the masses while the Agniveer Orientation Cell educated the visitors about the avenues of joining the Indian Army. Spear Corps is committed to promoting national integration and cultural harmony by motivating and cultivating young minds to serve the nation with pride.
