Kokrajhar: An open Rongjali Bwisagu-cum-felicitation programme was held in the remote Naigaon village in Porbhotjhora subdivision of Kokrajhar district recently. The programme was organized by the villagers where prominent persons and achievers were felicitated warmly. Guests and prominent persons like Janil Kumar Brahma, Sahitya Akademi awardee 2007, Jatindra Mushahary, MCLA of Porbatjhara No1. constituency, Swmausat Brahma, president, of Tipkai Anchalik Committee, ABSU, and other guests of different organizations were present.

On the occasion, the villagers felicitated Janil Kr Brahma, Sahitya Akademi awardee for the Promod Chandra Brahma Literary Award given by the BTC government., Promod Kr. Brahma for his Swameswari Literary Award given by Bodo Sahitya Sabha, 2019, Mihir Kumar Brahma for his achievement of Ph. d. from Assam University, Silchar and Lipika Brahma for her B. E. degree from Bhopal, MP. This Bwjsagu celebration-cum-felicitation programme was presided over by Prasent Kr. Brahma on behalf of Naigaon village.
