Rotary Club distributed free hand sanitizers, mask in Doomdooma

DOOMDOOMA: Rotary Club (RC) of Doomdooma under its Community Servicer Project distributed free hand sanitizers, hand gloves and masks to the members of Doomdooma Press Club (DPC) on Wednesday. President of RC Doomdooma Rotarian Sujit Kr Baruah distributed these items in the meeting convened on the occasion at the club venue with president of DPC Arjun Baruah in the chair. The other beneficiaries were All Assam Students' Union (AASU), Doomdooma Anchalik Committee, All Moran Students' Union (AMSU), Assam Tea Tribes Students' Association (ATTSA), Asam Jatiyatabadi Yuba-Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) and ASHA workers.

In his speech president, RC Doomdooma Rotarian Sujit Kr Baruah said that in view of members of DPC and others belonging to different social-cultural organisations bravely fighting to help the people in the face of COVID-19 pandemic, it was necessary to take help of these protective measures. So he came out to distribute these items today just like all other clubs of the Rotary International (R.I.) District 3240 were doing. President Sujit Kr Baruah was accompanied by incoming president Vikash Agarwal, past president Bibhu Das.
