Rotary Club of Doomdooma presented Nation Builders Award to seven teachers of Phillobari

DOOMDOOMA: On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Rotary Club (RC) of Doomdooma presented the Nation Builders Award to seven teachers of Phillobari area on Tuesday. They are - Amiya Kumar Saikia of Barholong ME School, Bhakta Dhadumia of Purbanchal Adarsha Jatiya Vidyalay, Manoranjan Sonowal and Jyotsna Phukan of Phillobari High School, Banshidhar Deori of Arunudoi High School, Baidyanath Bora of Chikorajan Jatiya Vidyalay, and Ranu Saikia of Shankardev Sishu Niiketan. They were honoured with gamosa, ‘Guru Mahiyan’ plaques and japis. On the other hand, Drono Charingia Phukan, Headmaster of Phillobari High School, was also honoured for his distinguished service in the field of education.

The event which was attended by president of Doomdooma RC, Bhupen Gohain, secretary Meghraj Bhardwaj, and others.
