In alignment with the announcement of the prime minister to create more jobs in the country, the department of railways is organizing Rozgar Melas.

GUWAHATI: Various organizations have adopted the idea of Rozgar Mela as directed by the Prime Minister of India. The purpose of this initiative is to fill up the vacancies at various departments of the central government which includes the Indian Railways. Keeping up with the initiative, Northeast Frontier Railways will organize a Rozgar Mela in the Rang Bhavan Cultural Hall located in Maligaon of Guwahati, on the 22nd of October.

"The mission will allow new candidates from various locations of the country to get appointment letters. As per sources, all the candidates were addressed by the prime minister of India through virtual platforms on October 20 at 11 am nationwide, " mentioned Sabyasachi De, the Chief Public Relations Officer of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR).

He mentioned that the Ministry of Railways will be one of the top contributors to this round of job generation and the initial batch of appointments will fill as many as 75,000 openings in the department in various capacities.

"The organization of the Guwahati leg of the program has been given to the N. F. Railway as part of the Prime Minister's recruitment mission," noted Sabyasachi De.

"At the mission program to be held in Guwahati, Cabinet Ministers Sarbananda Sonowal of AYUSH and Ports, Shipping and Waterways will be presenting appointment letters to the newly chosen applicants, assisted by other top officials of other government agencies," said the CPRO.

"On October 20, there will be the first round of hiring. This project will open up opportunities for those who want to work in the Central Government services. This program intends to carry out the government's commitment to providing youth with employment opportunities and ensuring the welfare of the general populace in the nation " added Sabyasachi De.

He continued by saying that during this event, appointment letters for about 200 new recruits of various government agencies, including the Railways, CBDT, BSF, and CISF, will be distributed. This will happen as per Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement to create 10 lakh employment possibilities in just one and a half years.
