Rs 1 lakh donated to Chief Minister's Relief Fund

MANGALDAI: Former AASU activist-cum-chairman of Red Cross Society, Udalguri, Dalim Bayan, while expressing his solidarity towards the flood-affected people of Assam, donated an amount Rs 1 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

Dalim Bayan, accompanied by former AASU activist and media person Bhargab Kumar Das, met Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at his office chamber at Janata Bhavan on Tuesday evening and handed over the cheque to the Chief Minister. Chief Minister Sarma expressed his gratitude to Dalim Bayan for his contribution towards the flood-affected people of the State.
