RTI activist seeks information on total posts of graduate teachers

KOKRAJHAR: An RTI application was submitted to the Director of Education, Kokrajhar by one Arabinda Seal, resident of Fakiragram, Kokrajhar on Monday seeking information about the total regular and contractual posts of graduate teachers in both Arts and Science in Assamese, Bodo, Hindi and Bengali medium, citing the name of each school where post is lying vacant as on 01.04.2020.

The secondary education department of Assam has published result of the same on March 4, 2020 but till now the successful candidates have not got the pass certificate from the department concerned. Apart from this, Seal also sought information about the total regular posts in upper primary schools of BTC in Assamese Bodo and Bengali medium, citing the school which had vacant post before 01.04.2020.
