Sadiya College organizes webinar on COVID-19 pandemic

DOOMDOOMA: Under the auspices of the Department of Sociology, Sadiya College and in collaboration with IQAC (Internal Quality Assessment Cell) of the college, a webinar on 'Political Sociology of COVID-19 pandemic: Some perspective' was organized on Monday where more than 200 participants comprising research scholars, academicians and students from all over the State took part.

The webinar started with a welcome address by Associate Professor Jewram Changmai, co-ordinator and Head of the department of Sociology. It was followed by a speech on the academic status of the college by Dr K. Panda, Co-ordinator, IQAC. Dr. Borun Dey, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, Dibrugarh University attended the programme as resource person. Brojen Borah, Principal (i/c), Sadiya College, inaugurated the webinar.
