Sadiya Sub-Divisional Development Committee meet held

SADIYA: Sadiya Sub-Divisional Development Committee was held on Friday at the conference hall of the Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) [SDO (Civil)]’s Office with SDO(Civil) in-charge ADC Manas Jyoti Nath in the chair.

The meeting was attended by the heads of various departments of the sub-division and SDO (Civil) in-charge Manas Jyoti Nath reviewed the various development schemes being implemented in the sub-division. He also took stock of the progress reports of the schemes and directed the officers to complete the works of the schemes within the stipulated time.

The meeting was attended by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, which completed 3,638 houses out of 5,912 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme in the sub-division. The engineer said that out of 34 projects under the Amrit Sarovar scheme, 23 projects have already been completed.

The Women and Child Development Project Officer distributed various items to 90 out of 233 Anganwadi centres in the sub-division under the ‘Adopt an Anganwadi’ campaign through the department and other departments. The meeting was attended by the Agriculture Officer, who said that the names of the farmer beneficiaries were registered.

The meeting was attended by the Heads of Departments who presented their various problems and those problems were reviewed in the meeting. The meeting was also attended by Assistant Commissioner Porcia Khanikar, Circle Officer, Sadiya Revenue Circle, Barsha Dowarah, Public Relations Officers Ayez Rahman and Abhi Kumar Gogoi.
