SANDIKSHA (SSB Wives Welfare Association) extends helping hand to the poor and needy

RANGIA: SANDIKSHA (SSB Wives Welfare Association), with the help of the jawans of Border outpost of Guabari and Mukalmua, conducted relief work under the guidance of Hrishikesh Sharma, Commandant of 24 Bn Sashastra Seema Bal Rangia, and Meha Jha, president of Sandiksha, amongst the poor, needy and down-trodden families of various village around the border outpost of Guabari and Mukalmuwa during the ongoing lockdown.

They distributed ration and food items like rice, potato, flour, dal, oil, salt and Dettol soap to 200 BPL and poor families of the various villages near the BOP. The troops have also voluntarily contributed one day’s salary to the PM CARES Fund. Hrishikesh Sharma, Commandant, stressed the need to follow the lockdown guidelines and remain at home to to contain spread of COVID-19.
