DHUBRI: Central Library of Sapatgram College, in collaboration with Assam College Librarians' Association-Dhubri and Bongaigaon Zone and ICT Cell-ACLA, organized a webinar on the theme 'Awareness programme on e-learning and usage of online e-resources for students' recently under the aegis of IQAC, Sapatgram College. Librarian of Handique Girls' College and the executive member of ACLA, Dr Nabyajyoti Das participated as resource person. Vice-president of ACLA and librarian of Birjhora Mahavidyalya, Basanta Kumar Sarma, and zonal member of Dhubri zone and Librarian of PB College, Tilak Sarma, also graced the occasion.

Earlier, Librarian of Sapatgram College, Rita Malakar welcomed all the participants and guests and lauded the efforts made by the ACLA for making e-learning popular among faculties and students across Assam. Principal of Sapatgram College, Dr. Rajeshwar Prasad Singh inaugurated the webinar and said that the pandemic had given the opportunity to everyone engaged in teaching and learning to use the virtual platform as there was no recourse left for physical meeting till the lockdown continued.

While deliberating on the theme, Dr. Nabayajyoti Das explained that students and teachers could make the best use of virtual repository where information was available in abundance. Dr. Das talked in details about various platforms like NDLI, DIKSHA, E-pathsala, SWAYAM, SWAYAMPRABHA, Project Gutenberg, Internet Archive, Hathitrust, DOAJ, DOAB, Online Lab and Sodhgangana.
