Sarma: Sarusajai Stadium becomes Nerve Centre in fight against COVID-19

Guwahati: All people who arrived in Assam from other parts of the country during the lockdown have been screened at the Sarusajai Stadium, Guwhati, and sent for quarantine, said Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The Minister today visited the stadium to assess the situation. Informing this he tweeted, "Gradually Sarusajai Stadium is becoming a nerve centre in our fight against COVID-19. All inbound people to Assam are being screened here including obtaining their samples then they are being sent for quarantine from here. Visited the stadium to take stock of the situation."
