SBI officials killed in road mishap at Biswanath district

BISWANATH CHARIALI: In a tragic road accident that took place at Balijan under Gohpur police station in Biswanath district, a Hyundai Eon car (AS 06A B9993) lost control on NH-15 on Friday night and fell into a wayside ditch leading to the death of two SBI employees.

According to information, four bank employees of Balijan SBI branch were travelling in the vehicle. Two were immediately rescued by a local youth but the other two drowned along with their vehicle. A cash officer of SBI Balijan branch, Bishal Raj of Bihar, and a temporary employee of the bank, Rameshwar Orang of Dubia Jarani village, died on the spot. The SDRF, in association with the Gohpur administration, recovered the bodies and the car.
