Science Awareness Mission 2021 held at Kamarbandha HS School

GOLAGHAT: Under the aegis of Golaghat District Unit of Assam Science Society and Assam Science and Technology Department a day-long event named - Science Awareness Mission 2021 - was held at Kamarbandha HS School. A meeting was held on the occasion which was presided over by the Principal of Kamarbandha HS School LokendraNath Bora. The purpose of the meeting was delivered by Secretary of Assam Science Society Golaghat District Unit DrPabitraChutia. A special speech on the topic 'Superstition, Prejudice and Scientific Temper ' was delivered by Assam Science Society member and HoD of Physics at DR College Golaghat, DrAmal Kumar Sharma. Another member of the Society and a Master degree student of Life Sciences, SaratChetia also delivered a speech representing the young generation. A science quiz was also held on the occasion which was conducted by DrPabitraChutia and SaratChetia. Several distinguished guests, teachers and students were present in the programme.
