Scootys distributed among Jeevika Sakhisin Morigaon

MORIGAON: Morigaon district administration, in cooperation with the Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission (ASRLM), on Friday formally distributed Scootys under Jeevika Sakhi Express to five Jeevika Sakhis out of 103 in the first phase.

Deputy Commissioner Leena Das distributed the Scootys in presence of CEO of Zila Parishad, the Superintendent of Police and District Project Manager (DPM) of ASRLM, Musaraf Hussain Choudhary. Earlier, the employees of ASRLM felicitated the DC,CEO and SP with traditional gamusa. Total 13,055 SHGs will get revolving fund (Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000) under capital subsidy in the district. The programme was conducted by the CEO of Zila Parishad. The DPM also informed that another 98 Sakhis would get Scootys phase wise.
