Scribe body meet held in Biswanath Chariali

BISWANATH CHARIALI: A general meeting of Biswanath District Journalist Union was held on Saturday at Biswanath Chariali. District President Naren Bora presided over the meeting while General Secretary Ratan Bhuyan explained the objectives. The secretary said that the central committee has decided to hold the central award distribution ceremony of All Assam Journalists' Union at Biswanath Chariali on May 8. The meeting discussed the steps to be taken in achieving the success of the event. Working President Niranjan Hazarika gave a detailed explanation on how this central programme would be implemented. Senior journalists Anand Sandikoi, Pulak Hazarika, Amir Khan and others exchanged views on various issues.
