Scribes' Kin Felicitated at Jorhat Press Club Auditorium On the Occasion of Vishwakarma Puja

JORHAT: Family members of journalists were felicitated during the biennial conference of Jorhat Press Club held at the club auditorium on the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja, said outgoing general secretary of the club, Ananta Narayan Borthakur.

During the biennial day-long conference, three students were felicitated for scoring 85 per cent in the 2018-19 Class X Board examination -Shruti Madhur Handique, Miminsha Kabra and Chiranjib Bora from Carmel School, Jorhat. They were felicitated with memento, citation and phulam gamosa.

Later, the new executive body of the club for the year 2019-2020 was elected with Shankab Kaushik Baruah as president, PK Singh as vice-president and Pradip Bora as general secretary.
