Second Assam Science Festival to be hosted by Tezpur University

Tezpur: In order to strengthen science, technology and innovative activities in Assam, Tezpur University will host Northeast India’s biggest science fest - the 2nd Assam Science Festival - from March 23 to March 25 at the university premises. The Assam Science Festival will be organized by Assam Science Technology and Environment Council, popularly known as ASTEC, under the aegis of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Assam. This time the science fest is being organized by the council with the active support of Tezpur University.

“The purpose of the fest is to showcase science, technology and innovative activities of various institutions,” said Dr. Sadhan Mahapatra, senior faculty member of the Department of Energy, TU, and joint convenor of the fest.
