Second Major Reshuffle in Assam Police in past 24 hrs, many SPs transferred

GUWAHATI: The Assam Government on Friday reshuffled the State police in the rank of SP (Superintendent of Police).

Mughdhajyoti Dev Mahanta, SP of Cachar has been transferred and posted as SP of Sonitpur. Kumar Sanjit Krishna, SP of Sonitpur has been transferred and posted as SP of Karimganj.

Manabendra Dev Ray, SP of Karimganj has been transferred and posted as SP of Cachar. Hitesh Chandra Ray, SP of Majuli has been transferred and posted as Commandant of 9th APBn, Barhampur, Nagaon.

Rajmohan Ray, Commandant of 9th APBn, Barhampur, Nagaon has been transferred and posted DCP (Operations) under Commissionerate of Police, Guwahati.

Rajveer, Superintendent of Railway Police, Pandu has been transferred and posted as SP of Lakhimpur. SP of Lakhimpur Harekrishna Nath has been transferred and posted as Commandant of 2nd APBn, Makum.

SP of Bongaigaon Subodh Kumar Sonowal has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Railway Police, Pandu. Singharam Mili, Commandant of 2nd APBn, Makum has been transferred and posted as SP of Bongaigaon.
