Sector-wise performance of banks reviewed at conference hall of Deputy Commissioner's office

DIBRUGARH: A meeting of the District Level Review Committee and District Consultative Committee was held under the presidentship of District Development Commissioner Partha Pratim Bairagi on Monday at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner's office here.

The meeting, which was attended by Lead District Manager Hemanta Kumar Pait and representatives of 24 banks of the district, reviewed the deposit, advance position and CD ratio of the banks and directed low performing banks to improve their CD ratio. The meeting also reviewed the sector-wise performance of banks in various sectors such as agriculture and allied activities, MSME and service sectors under Annual Credit plan 2020-21 in Dibrugarh district and asked banks to enhance their performance, especially in agriculture and allied sectors so that it can help the poor sections of the society. The meeting also reviewed performance of banks under various government-sponsored schemes and Prime Minister Mudra Yojona.
