Hailakandi: A meeting for selection of candidates for seven vacant posts of Mondals was held in the office chamber of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Narendra Kumar Shah here. The matter of percentage of marks to be taken in the written exam was thoroughly discussed in the house and it was resolved that different exams score would be given weightage for calculating the final score of a candidate. For HSLC exam score 20% weightage; RCCC exam score 30%; general knowledge/general aptitude test score 30% weightage and computer test score 20% weightage will be given.
Computer test will be conducted on November 1. The matter of consideration of candidature of candidates who were already in government service would be considered only on receipt of no objection certificate from the employer concerned. Contractual or ad hoc employees will not be considered as government servants for the purpose. The matter of physical verification of exam centre at SS College was also discussed in the meeting. The Additional Deputy Commissioner cum Chairman, Selection Committee directed the Circle Officer, Hailakandi to conduct a physical verification as regards accommodation of 50 numbers of valid candidates for written exam at the college and furnish detail report to him immediately.
