Seminar on Atmanirbhar Bharat at Lakhimpur Commerce College

LAKHIMPUR: A two-day Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) sponsored national level seminar on Atmanirbhar Bharat and North East India began at Lakhimpur Commerce College from Friday. The seminar has been organized by the Department of Commercial Law and IQA Cell of the college.

The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. Muhidhar Pujari, president of the governing body of the college. The welcome address of the seminar was delivered by Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Principal of the college. The keynote address of the seminar was delivered by Dr. Pranjal Bezborah, distinguished retired Professor in Management, Dibrugarh university.

Two technical session of the seminar was held on Friday on the first day of the seminar which were chaired by Dr. Pranjal Bezbaruah and Dr Prasanna Panigrahi, HoD and Professor of Political Science, Rajeev Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh. A total of 29 research papers were presented at the seminar on the first day. Two more technical sessions of the seminar were scheduled to hold on Saturday.
