Senior journalist Atanu Bhuyan to contest for Rajya Sabha Polls

Guwahati: After senior journalist Ajit Bhuyan, another senior journalist from Assam Atanu Bhuyan is reported to be contesting for the Rajya Sabha polls on March 26.

Atanu Bhuyan is likely to be the third candidate from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

As per media reports, journalist Moon Goswami collected the nomination papers on behalf of Atanu Bhuyan on Thursday, March 12.

It is to be noted that on March 11, BJP has selected Bhubaneshwar Kalita and Bodoland People's Front (BPF) leader Biswajit Daimary as the party's candidate for the other two seats.
