Sensitization Programme on Tuberculosis held at 155 Base Hospital, Tezpur

Tezpur: A CME-cum-sensitization programme on recent updates of tuberculosis was held at 155 Base Hospital. The programme was organized by RNTCP Sonitpur in collaboration with Gajraj Healers 155 Base Hospital recently.

Col Mayank Namdeo in his welcome address explained about the importance of CME. Dr Sanjoy Roy, District TB Officer, Sonitpur, explained about the various significant activities undertaken by RNTCP, Sonitpur. Dr. Manik Ch. Roy, MOTC, Dhekiajuli explained about the recent updates on Tuberculosis. He also discussed about the changes in weight bands of medicine, DBT and active case finding. The CME continued with an interactive session where queries got explained. The query included usage of CBNAAT for defence personnel.
