DIBRUGARH: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the forthcoming Far East Zone (Cluster I & II) Swimming event for 2023.
This prestigious swimming competition is scheduled to take place at Shiksha Valley School, Dibrugarh from October 27 to October 30. The CBSE Swimming Cluster events have consistently provided a platform for young athletes to showcase their exceptional talent and sportsmanship.
The 2023 edition is expected to maintain this tradition, with participants from schools across the Far East Zone, including West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and the entire north-eastern states, poised to make a splash at Shiksha Valley School’s state-of-the-art aquatic facilities. Remarkably, this marks the first time Dibrugarh town will host a CBSE Cluster competition.
Around 200 schools with 1000 students will participate in the event. Around 400 coaches and managers will accompany their participants. Shiksha Valley School, affiliated with CBSE, encourages not just the participants but also the broader community to come out and support these young athletes as they compete in an environment of mutual respect and sportsmanship. The event aims to inspire young minds, promote physical fitness, and instill the values of discipline and dedication.
