Show-cause notice issued to two poll personnel in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: Show cause notice has been issued to two poll personnel for negligence in election duty in Golaghat election district on Tuesday. Bipul Kumar Bhagawati, a PGT at Betioni Higher Secondary School, has been issued a show cause notice by Bibhash Chandra Modi, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Golaghat for unauthorized absence. He has been asked to reply within three days of receiving the notice. Dulal Kurmi, who is the in-charge of a Static Surveillance Team deployed in Golaghat election district, has also been issued show cause notice for negligence in election duty by the Model Code of Conduct Cell. He has been asked to reply to the same within 24 hours of receiving the notice.
