Sibanuj Borkatoky and Megha Mazumdar bring laurels to Sivasagar

GAURISAGAR: Sibanuj Borkatoky of Amguri Arunodoy Academy and Megha Mazumdar of Sivasagar Junior College brought laurels to Sivasagar district by securing 9th and 8th position in the HS final examination in Science and Commerce streams respectively.

Sibanuj Borkatoky, son of Sanjib Borkatoky, an Assistant Engineer of Amguri Municipality Board, and Kamalakshi Borkatoky of Amguri Brahmin village, secured 9th position in the HS (Science) examination with 94.8 per cent from Amguri Arunudoy Academy. He wants to become a doctor and he used to study for six hours daily. His hobbies are playing outdoor games and reading magazines and newspapers. Sibanuj has secured 7th position in the HSLC examination from this institute. Megha Mazumdar, daughter of Dilip Mazumdar, a goldsmith, and Sima Mazumdar of Babupatty, Sivasagar, secured 8th position in the HS (Commerce) exam from Sibsagar Junior College. She got letter marks in English, Alternative English, Banking, Accountancy, Business Studies and in Computer Science. She wants to be a Chartered Accountant and will take admission in Sibsagar Commerce College. She is also a good singer and dancer.
