Sibsagar Commerce College students of NCC cadet shine

SIVASAGAR: Dipjyoti Das, an NCC cadet of Sibsagar Commerce College, has been selected for training among 17 directorate which will be held in 7 countries . Dipjyoti is the only selected candidate from the entire North-East India who will showcase his training skills in 7 countries including Sri Lanka and Thailand. He has already reached Sri Lanka for the skill showcasing occasion.

Along with NCC, many students of various department of the college has been selected for training in many reputed organization of the country through campus interview. On October 21, ten students from the Department of Hospitality Management have been selected for a six months long training program in Efcee Sarovar Portico, a seven star hotel.

On the other hand, Ankita Sing, Ankita Bhagawati and Tuljit Gogoi, students from the department of BCA, 6th semester have been selected for WIPRO and Prasanjit Manna, Animesh Hazarika and Lakshita Hazarika has been selected for TechMahindra. The success of the students during this pandemic has been a great milestone for the college as a whole which reflects the hard- work of the concerned Professors towards the betterment of the students, stated Dr Saumarjyoti Mahanta, Principal of the college.
