Sitajakhala Dugdha Utpadak Samabai Samity Donates to Assam Arogya Nidhi

JAGIROAD: The Sitajakhala Dugdha Utpadak Samabai Samity, Amlighat near Jagiroad has extended Rs 5 lakh to the Assam Arogya Nidhi for fighting against COVID-19. The chairman of the Samity, Ranjib Sharma handed over the cheque in presence of Jagiroad MLA Pijush Hazarika in Guwahati. Also, a reputed businessman of Jagiroad, Sanjib Saikia handed over a cheque of Rs.1.5 lakh to State Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma as aid to fight against the pandemic.

Meanwhile, many organizations and individuals are extending a helping hand to the poor families here. Sayam Enterprise’s owner and social worker Rakesh Singh distributed food items among the needy people.
