Sitala Puja celebrated in Demow Chariali

DEMOW: Sitala Puja was organized in Demow Chariali at the Sitala Mandir which is situated near the NH-37 Road and is one of the oldest temple in Demow area. On Tuesday morning, the puja started with Kalash Yatra. The puja was performed with rituals and after that the Jaagya, Aarti and Anjali was done. Many devotees came from various places to offer prayers and seek blessings from Goddess Sitala. In the evening, prasaad, along with Khichdi were distributed among the devotees. Sukumal Mukherjee performed the puja.
