SIVASAGAR: In the 12-day training of the seventh batch of Apadamitra, which has been going on since September 20 at Sibsagar Commerce College, Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar Aditya Vikram Yadav attended the training and thanked the trainees for participating in the training and interacted with them about their experiences. Additional Deputy Commissioner and Executive Officer of Disaster Management Karmadev Brahma along with Deputy Controller of Civil Defence Pranjit Dutta, who was in-charge of the training, Principal of Sibsagar Commerce College Dr Saumarjyoti Mahanta, Project Officer of Disaster Management Rupamjyoti Borah as well as the trainers of Civil Defence were also present on the occasion.
A total of 63 trainees participated in this training. The trainees participating from Nagaon, Tinsukia and Sivasagar districts were being trained on behalf of Sivasagar Civil Defence Department in the training of Apadamitra going on since April 2. A total of 560 trainees have successfully completed the training so far.
