Sivasagar DC Aditya Vikram Yadav inspects water supply schemes under Jal Jeevan Mission

SIVASAGAR: Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav visited several areas in the district and took stock of the pace and progress made in Water Supply Schemes under execution through Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM).

The schemes are aimed to provide safe and adequate drinking water through individual household tap connections to all households. The Deputy Commissioner during his visit took stock of pace and progress made on Greater Borbam, Haluwating Market, Deopani and Borbam Water Supply Schemes under Amguri Revenue Circle.

After taking stock of the progress of these works, the Deputy Commissioner instructed the officials of the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department to visit these schemes and ensure that the schemes are successfully implemented in a timely manner. The Deputy Commissioner also interacted with locals and heard their issues for early redressal. The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Amguri BDO, JEs and others.
