Sivasagar DC holds meeting with bank heads

SIVASAGAR: To review the status of Aadhaar enrolment and to strengthen Aadhaar seeding, Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav held a meeting with heads of various banks at his office chamber on Wednesday. The meeting discussed in detail the linkage of Aadhaar with bank accounts of the beneficiaries of various schemes of the Panchayat & Rural Development Department and Agriculture Department. In the meeting which was attended by LDM, UBI, Sivasagar, the heads of the banks promised to extend their full-cooperation in this regard. The meeting was also attended by Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Sivasagar Aswini Doley and officials of the agriculture department.
