Sivasagar DC Megha Nidhi Dahal inspects Dorikapar dumping yard

SIVASAGAR: In response to the long-standing demands of the public, Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Megha Nidhi Dahal inspected the garbage extraction site at Dorikapar here.

During his visit to the dumping yard, the Deputy Commissioner also had a meeting with the officials concerned. The meeting explored alternative measures on the problem arising amidst the public due to garbage disposal at the site.

The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by District Development Commissioner (i/c) Karmadev Brahma, Additional Deputy Commissioner Bitupan Neog, and the Executive Officer of the Sivsagar Municipal Board — Dr Jeevan Krishna Goswami; besides officers of the 'Pollution Control Board'.
