Sivasagar DC reviews progress of construction of Model Anganwadi Centres

SIVASAGAR: An important meeting was held in the Syukafa Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner's office, Sivasagar under the chairmanship of Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Megha Nidhi Dahal recently.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Social Welfare), Block Development Officers of Sivasagar, Nazira, Thowra and Amguri Development Blocks, District Social Welfare Officer and Chairman and Member Secretaries of the Anganwadi Centre Construction Committee at the constituency level.

In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress of construction of 26 newly-allocated Model Anganwadi Centres for all the four constituencies of the district. The Deputy Commissioner urged everyone to complete the construction of 11 Model Angawadi Centres allotted for Amguri constituency, two allotted for Nazira constituency, 11 allotted for Thowra constituency and two Model Anganwadi Centres allotted for Sivasagar constituency within the stipulated time. He urged everyone to inform the district administration about any difficulty in completing these Model Anganwadi Centres within the stipulated time.
