Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner inaugurates Amrit Sarovar scheme

SIVASAGAR: On the occasion of the 72nd birth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Amrit Sarovar scheme was formally inaugurated on September 17 in Sivasagar district. Construction of a total of 42 Amrit Sarovar schemes was formally inaugurated in Sivasagar district.

Of these, 36 works were inaugurated under Demow development block, four under Gaurisagar development block and two under Nazira development block.

Tapan Kumar Gogoi, MP, Jorhat Lok Sabha Constituency, Sushanta Borgohain, MLA of Thowra constituency, Aditya Vikram Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar, president of Sivasagar Zila Parishad, Chief Executive Officer of Sivasagar Zila Parishad, and other dignitaries were present.
