Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner inspects execution of Jal Jeevan Mission

SIVASAGAR: One of the ambitious and welfare schemes of the Government of India, the Jal Jeevan Mission is going on in full swing in the Sivasagar district. In order to ensure successful implementation of the scheme in the Sivasagar district, the Deputy Commissioner has been frequently reviewing the progress of the works in detail with the officials and staff of the Public Health Engineering (PHE) department.

With the objective of monitoring the timely implementation of the works under the scheme in the district, Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav visited various areas of Jerenga Pathar, Rupahi Pathar, Borsila Tea Garden etc under Amguri Revenue Circle recently. The Deputy Commissioner stressed early removal of bottlenecks, if any, for timely completion of the projects. He urged the departmental officers to work expeditiously for proper implementation of the scheme.
