Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Megha Nidhi Dahal visits health centre and schools

SIVASAGAR: Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar Megha Nidhi Dahal visited the Community Health Centre at Amguri and interacted with the doctors and nurses working there and took stock of the infrastructure of the health centre on Thursday.

The Deputy Commissioner urged doctors and health workers to be available at all times to provide quick and systematic medical care to the people. He also took stock of the complaints in respect of the health centre and directed the departmental authorities to look into those deficiency complaints.

The Deputy Commissioner then visited Pengra Middle English School, Dhaluwapathar Primary School, No. 2 Dhaluwapathar Anganwadi Centre and Bandarjan Primary School and interacted with the teachers and students. He also took stock of the progress of the work of the Model Anganwadi Centre constructed in the premises of Bandarjan Primary School and directed the departmental authorities to construct the centre expeditiously without any anomalies.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Circle Officer of Amguri Revenue Circle and Executive Officer of Amguri Municipal Board.
