Sivasagar District Commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav visits Civil Hospital

SIVASAGAR: With a view to check the functioning of Sivasagar Civil Hospital located at Joysagar, Sivasagar District Commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav paid a visit to the hospital on Friday night. During the visit the district commissioner also interacted with the attendants of the patients present at the hospital and took stock of various aspects of drinking water facilities, cleanliness, medical care of the patients etc.

After the inspection the District Commissioner chaired a meeting organized by the District Committee of the Health Department. The district commissioner reviewed the functioning of the hospital and whether the benefits of government schemes have been being provided to the patients or not. He urged the officers and staff of the hospital to raise awareness among the public about the advantage of the government schemes and render selfless service. He also appealed doctors, nurses and other staff of the hospital to render dedicated services to the patients. Moreover, the District Commissioner visited the adjoining Joysagar Police Outpost and interacted with the officers and staff on duty and urged them to be vigilant for the safety and security of the patients, medical personnel of the hospital and the public under their vicinity.

During the visit, the District Commissioner was accompanied by Additional District Commissioner (Health), Joint Director of Health Services and other senior doctors.
