Six ATM thieves arrested by Assam Police

DEMOW: Demow Police and the DSP of Sivasagar district arrested six ATM thieves on Sunday in connection with two ATM robberies that took place in Demow a few days ago. According to sources, the thieves broke and looted two ATMs of Demow. One was Punjab National Bank's ATM which is situated in Demow Nitai Road and the another was of State Bank of India (SBI) which is situated near Demow Central Market. One thief was arrested from Sivasagar, one from Bokakhat, two from Morigaon, one from Nagaon and one from Kamrup. A case has been registered. They were produced in the Sivasagar Court on Monday. Investigation is on.
