Social worker donates solar-powered street light to temple in Udalguri district

TANGLA: In a goodwill initiative, businessman and social worker of Kalaigaon, Kulen Deka aided the construction of the Sanatan Temple at 1 No. Kalaigaon village in Udalguri district on Sunday.

Deka donated solar-powered street light to the temple in a ceremonious event at the temple premises on Sunday. The temple management committee members, including its secretary Jatin Deka, expressed gratitude and appreciated him for the noble initiative.

Speaking on the occasion, businessman Deka asserted that everyone from the cross sections of society must contribute their fair share for social and religious institutions of their neighborhood as their obligation towards the society.
