Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) distributes relief items among flood-affected people

LAKHIMPUR: The Lakhimpur district unit of Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) on Friday distributed relief items among the flood-affected people living in No. 1 Gelahati and No. 2 Gelahati villages under Naoboicha LAC of Lakhimpur district. As part of the relief distribution drive, the political party extended a packet containing rice, dal, salt, mustard oil and other essential items to each of the 56 flood-affected families of the two villages. The state committee of the political party informed that it would initiate relief distribution drives and health screening camps among the flood-affected people in Barak Valley, Nagaon, Dima Hasao districts soon.
